The Venue

Dinner where astronauts trained.

The Fuge is built around the Navy's human centrifuge at the former Naval Air Development Center in Johnsville. From 1950 to 1996, its giant arm spun pilots and astronauts to simulate the punishing g-forces of launch and re-entry. Mercury astronauts including John Glenn trained here, along with Gemini crews, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.

The original gondola is still on view, so take a look between courses.

About NGA

New clothes, given with dignity, since 1885.

The National Giving Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides brand-new clothing to homeless and low-income children, youth and families.

New clothes do more than keep a child warm. They bring dignity, confidence and a sense of belonging, and every gift moves us closer to ending clothing insecurity.

"New clothes equalize, used clothes pauperize."

Our founder's motto
